Job Description
Position Overview:
Dexsta Federal Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Financial Services Representative to provide exceptional service to members by handling transactions and servicing accounts, including savings, checking, certificates, and consumer loans. This role also includes educating members on credit union products to deepen their financial relationship with us. You may be assigned to any branch, including our Phone Center.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent member service in-person, via phone, and digitally.

Open and close various types of accounts (checking, savings, CDs, debit cards, etc.).

Process non-monetary requests (direct deposits, online/mobile banking, etc.).

Maintain and update member account information accurately.

Investigate and resolve member inquiries and account issues.
-
Educate members on credit union policies, products, and services.
-
Meet established sales and lending goals by identifying member needs.

Counsel loan applicants, complete applications, evaluate creditworthiness, and process approvals or denials within authority limits.

Prepare accurate loan documents, close, and disburse funds according to policy.

Adhere to all applicable regulations (Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, USA Patriot Act, etc.).
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required.

Valid Driver’s License required.

Strong computer skills and comfort using various applications.

Experience in financial services, lending, or sales is preferred.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
-
Must be bondable.
Physical & Work Requirements:
-
Sit for extended periods (up to 60%).
-
Occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.
-
Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and use of hands.

Occasional travel and non-standard hours.
-
Exposure to dust or limited ventilation environments possible.
