Job Description

Ständler International is a leading multinational Italian company specializing in consumer goods. With an established presence in the U.S. for many years, we are seeking to strengthen the finance division at our American headquarters.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to oversee and manage all financial operations of our U.S. division. This role is critical for ensuring sound financial planning, regulatory compliance, and insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly financial closing processes.

  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, forecasts, and reports.

  • Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant tax regulations.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.

  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Track company performance using operational KPIs.

  • Support investment evaluations and profitability analyses.

  • Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives.

  • Implement new financial control and reporting tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably including audit or finance roles in the U.S.

  • Deep understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Advanced proficiency with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Fluent/native English proficiency is essential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive mindset with a results-oriented approach.
